Greetings from our NJ neighborhood

Welcome to our neighborhood, as digital as it may be. Greetings from New Jersey! Here's a view of our actual neighborhood from our front porch, of course.

I have avoided creating a blog for our family primarily to avoid committing myself to "one more thing". Ironically I benefit from your willingness to post on your own blogs and E-mails--I just love reading a little of what you're thinking and I love seeing a little of your world in the pics you post. Yesterday I decided that adding "one more thing" never hurt--as my friend Christanne says "I'm not overcommitted, just maximally committed." So here we go!

This will be a great place for me to keep you posted on our adventures--perhaps it will make our Christmas cards more of "cards" and less of a travel log. I'll try to abstain from the overuse of the exclamation mark for Dan's sake and post some photos of our every-growing little monster. Happy reading!

By the way, yesterday I created a blog on this site and it mysteriously disappeared. I'm intrigued. Will the same thing happen to this one? The uncertainty is killing me.

Yeah! I'm so glad the Players have started a blog! Great way to keep in touch. Fun to see pictures of Joshua. Fun to get a dose of inspiration from one of our favorite families.
