Perfect Day

Five things that made this a Perfect Day
  • 70 degree plus weather and sun--everyone got their Chacos on?
  • A full session in the Manhattan Temple today--okay, okay, so half of them were missionaries on their preparation day but it's always great to see the Temple full. By the way, here's something funny. Did you know that the Church bought a former convent in New York City (complete with a statue of Mary out front) and nine sister missionaries live there? They live in a nunnery--isn't that awesome!
  • Portuguese practice with two beautiful Brasilians in my session
  • 5-mile run in shorts for me and a 12-mile commute to work on bike for Dan
  • Joshua was worn out at bedtime
I love my life. I keep thinking that maybe I'm going to hit by a car or diagnosed with cancer--things are going so well for us. Oh, and that's the Manhattan Temple up top, if you couldn't tell by spotting Moroni. When you come to visit me (like how smooth that was) this will be the view you have as we emerge from the subway tunnel.

Love that picture! Thanks for sharing. So...we're invited to come visit again? We'll be there. Seriously, we'd really love to visit the temple sometime. We'll have to plan something.
