Joshua gave his first Primary talk on Sunday. He and Dan sat down to write it and this is what they came up with. He did great on it even though the crowd was little distracting.
I'm just kicking myself for not getting a photo of him standing at the primary podium after church--I have one of those in my scrapbook from when I was a sunbeam.

I love his talk :) !! You and Dan should submit this format for children talks (numbered sentences with picture words) to the Friend so other parents can use it, too!

That is so great! It such a big step for those little ones. Ellie still has her first talk memorize. Every now and then I hear her reciting it. It helps that some of the words came right out of a primary song. So sweet.
Love those NYC pictures as well. Looks like so much fun.
It makes me want to cry...Joshua can't be old enough to give a talk!! I wish I could have been there. Ella had the spotlight bag on Sunday...it gave me a chance to tell the kids a bit about ELla so they could understand why she lets out little screams in church. I told them that even though she can't talk, she loves it when kids talk to her. After church, about 10 kids cam up to her and said, "Hi Ella!" The kids are so sweet. I know that if Joshua and Ella were in Sunbeams together, he would hold her hand to guide her to class. Again...makes me cry!!
