Highlights of our South Carolina Trip

Alligator Hunting in Woods Bay. We didn't find a single gator, but walking through a swamp is certainly an experience to remember. That water really is as black as it looks--I can't imagine what is rotting in there, but amazingly it didn't smell like it looked. I kind of wanted to dip my hand in, but they were busy swatting mosquitoes!
More Swamps. There are lots of these where Dan's dad was raised. This is the one Dan's great-great-grandpa was baptized in. Wow. That's conversion.
The Fincher Pack House. We saw so many really cool barns in rural South Carolina, and they look different than ones in the west. This was the barn Dan's grandma's family packed their tobacco in for drying.
