More Praise to the Man

I just wanted to say thanks to all who expressed their feelings about the death of our dear prophet President Gordon B. Hinckley. I had such a hard time with that event. Though it only seemed fair to let him go Home, I mourned my loss thinking of how much I will miss him in the conferences to come. I felt a deep and personal loss that was hard to talk about--my admiration for him seemed to bind me to him. Reading all of your thoughts helped so much. I was so grateful to attend his funeral via Internet broadcast. He was a loving and a loved man, and I'm thankful everyday that I was able to learn so much from him while he was still alive. I've no doubt that I have a lot to learn from him even after his death.

I was so grateful too, and so impressed and happy that we all have blogs to share our thoughts. It's amazing how many blog owners are LDS! I think we never truly say goodbye to those who have changed us, and President Hinckley did change us as so many of us grew up with him. He will forever be a part of you!
