J was sick all through the night. Today he's recovering. Notice the essential items in this "sick set-up" that are making his quarantine more comfortable: Legos, water bottle, sick bowl, laptop (a safe distance from the aforementioned bowl) for his viewing pleasure.
After checking in with J, I found E in this position. My bathroom has never smelled so minty fresh. He giggled when he was discovered and then he grimaced as he tasted his "fingerpaint" paste. He has been energetic today, bouncing off the walls as we pretend to be dinosaurs and as he runs through the house brandishing a flyswatter.
A is more quiet by nature, and she is so observant. After I got E cleaned up, I went back into the bathroom to find her cleaning up the mess with a towel. Not ten minutes later I found her tucked into my bed with her bear like this.
"A, why is this bowl by Pink Bear," I asked."Sick," she replied. "Met. Bear seepy."
Though she can't yet use a sick bowl when appropriate, I'm glad she at least knows what one is.

How sweet are these kids? I love the girlie stuff that she's doing on her own. Toothpaste is considered a good cleaning agent....maybe E was just trying to help? Super cute kids...feel better soon everyone!
Look at those super sweet faces!! please, kiss them for me :-)
Sheldon and I were sick over the weekend. Once, when Sheldon was using the "official" sick bowl in the bathroom, I found Clarissa in the other bathroom in the same position coughing and spitting into the water. "I'm sick like Dad." Like you said, hopefully when she actually is sick, she'll remember where this sick bowl is :)
Love that the sister just goes ahead and clean up after her brother. The best~
The sick bowl for bear. I love it. So funny.
It takes a special mom to turn a sick day into a great memory. Love the sick bowl for little bear.
Anders has learned the whole sick bowel thing. There is something so sweet about a sick kiddo holding a bowel. I hope you are all feeling better soon.
bummer! I despise the stomach flu! we also have a "sick bucket" (which, might I add, has become a permanent staple in my car now ... way too many vomit incidents in the car) anyway, beck will get it and do a fake little cough and pretend like he's throwing up into the bucket. he's not even two yet and he knows what to do!
