J mostly loves pelting people with snow, but if left alone he contentedly shovels, tunnels, climbs, burrows, and basks in the whiteness all around us. A and E looked on repeating their description of the scene: "'Shu-Uh, 'no." He taunted them with his smile and snowballs. In the end even E, my most hesitant little snowman, couldn't resist the frozen stuff today.

Ditch the hat (as cute as it might be) and keep the tutu--my girl has priorities. Ultimately I am most thankful that she loves to be outside, and that when we're all chilled and wet we have a warm house to return to.Stay tuned for tomorrow's post about the indoor activities that have resulted from this weather-related school closure--J gets to stay home tomorrow, too. (Hallelujah!)

I love the tutu sticking out of her coat.
ohhh my goodness! BURRRRRRR!
I actually called today to see if you were snowed in...& sure enough. But, I could not have even imagined THAT much snow. Yikes. Hurry & make some hot chocolate.
What a lot you got! After all the anticipatory excitement we ended up with just 4 inches in CT.
Your house is adorable . . .
Liz your family is so adorable...fun post!
Every time I see her in that tutu I just can't help but smile. I love that she loves it so much.
