Thunder Over the Boardwalk

Dad and I went to Thunder over the Boardwalk.  It is an airshow at the shore in Atlantic City.
We sat on the beach.  Many people came to watch the airshow.  It was crowded like the Olympics!
The tanker fueling jet you see above is a powerful jet that they use in the Air Force for filling up airplanes who are already on a mission and can't fill up on base.  The two small small jets you see here are F-16s.
Then the cargo plane came out.  They were big strong wide planes that could fly over big distances.
The bomber was pretty cool.  It only did a fly by.  A different bomber (that we didn't take a picture of) dropped thirty water melons into the water!
The Brazilian planes are like the Blue Angels for Brazil.  The planes did cool tricks, almost crashing into each other.  They crossed like crazy.
Last, but not least, the Thunderbirds performed.  They did all kinds of tricks.  I remember they also did crosses, flying upside down.  It was so cool and so loud!

There isn't a picture on here of the Harrier.  It was the loudest!

*By the way, the boys loved the airshow but wouldn't exactly recommend Atlantic City.  We're always trying to figure out why people are so down on New Jersey, and I think it might be because they're judging it based on Newark and Atlantic City.  Not the prettiest beach down the shore!
