FHE--Armor of God

Lesson We Taught:  We must prepare ourselves as a soldier for battle with a helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit, breastplate of truth, shield of faith, loins gird with righteousness, and with our feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel.  (Many thanks to the Apostle Paul who came up with this analogy.)
Lesson They Taught us:  Dressing up for a lesson is a great way to be involved in it.
Lesson We Apparently Still Haven't Learned:  if they aren't completely engaged in a lesson or if they lose interest that close to bedtime, they will lose all control, take apart the furniture, jump on it, and hurt each other.
I believe D's words at the end were "that was one for the ages."  He meant that in the "I'm glad that is over" way.

In other news our neighbors are at it again this year.  The whole neighborhood is getting decked out for Halloween.  This year I'm going to keep track of how many people decorate for Halloween and how many decorate for Christmas.  I'm pretty sure Halloween will win.
My neighbor's maple is full of swinging jack-o-lanterns.  I'm so tempted to drop candy in them each time I walk by.  E on the other handed is so tempted to knock them down each time he passes them.

I just like that somehow during pictures 2 & 3 E lost his pants & shoes. How great that you are documenting FHE. Smart.
