Our Family Home Evening tonight was pretty much all activity and all pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin slime, pumpkin seeds--we ate it, we removed it, we roasted them. I was in charge of the lesson and I forgot to give it.
Everybody really got into it in their own way--E with two spatulas, J with his full-body carving approach, and A held it together at my side after a napless afternoon.
I love family nights that engage each of my kids. Finished products to be revealed by Halloween. Along with kids in costumes. Which I haven't yet figured out.

Love it! Wish I didn't dry heave every time I carve a pumpkin...oh to be a kid again!
