FHE--Courage and the Hokey Pokey

Doesn't that photo make him look like he was cooperative and cheerfully engaged?  He really looked angelic at this moment.

Moment of Comedy (our family's new FHE tradition):
J showing up to FHE in E's 2T pants.
Treat:
Frozen cake leftover from last week's family anniversary cake.  I had sliced up the remaining half of bundt cake and frozen the slices flat in ziploc bags, so serving them today was a cinch. I admit it wasn't too bad in its frozen state.
Lesson:
Gifts of Courage, from the November Friend magazine.  I love the monthly First Presidency messages adapted for kids.  I cut out the activity to make the matching activity a little more kinesthetic.
Activity:
We did the Hokey Pokey and we turned ourselves around, because that's what it's all about.
An unofficial Moment of Comedy:
Bare-bummed E running in and out as he used the facilities.  A running circles around the table and dancing through the closing songs.
D's Soundbite:
"I think I need to get a hearing aid just so that I can turn it down."

Look!  A's curls are returning.
