Do you think we were tempting the universe?
All of that was followed by a couple of hours of complete civil unrest and insurrection inside the walls of our home. Our little "bedlamites" (as Elder Holland so lovingly referred to a certain variety of children) bucked every attempt to put on pajamas, follow directions, do their homework, brush their teeth, and in short, keep the peace. I think the last of our children finally fell asleep at midnight after hours of unsuccessful attempts to help her settle down in her new big girl bed.

Not everyday can be all "up"--"downs" are part of the ride, right? Here's to remembering yesterday's "up" and here's to starting again today. We will keep trying.
