This Never Happens on Family Night

I snapped this photo to document the strangest of occurrences at a Family Night--a child sitting still.  I would love it if they all sat and pulled on their ear.

Lesson:  Using and Developing Our Talents

Dan had the kids act out the parable of the talents, giving them quarters in the place of talents, and we talked about the different types of talents that we can develop.  They love being so involved in a lesson.

Activity:  Swinging at the park

(which actually won't happen until tonight due to an early ending to FHE.  We like to draw things out like that.)

Music:  "Beautiful Savior"

I started teaching this to the kids last night after feeling for a month that we need to get back to singing together regularly.
