Family Soccer

Soccer is over and I'm really going to miss its place in our routine. 

The twins were way too young for this, so I ended up on the field with them at nearly every practice and game, cheering them on and redirecting their attention.  In a word it was comical.

They had such great coaches with such enduring patience and creativity, and they all learned fundamentals of the game at their own level.

My favorite element of their league was how family friendly it was--parents were involved in every bit of it (in the green pinnies above) on the sidelines and on the field, and then we all celebrated together at the end with pizza and trophies.
