Things to Do on Winter Break

See the Muppets Movie.  Check!  These two thought they were too cool for this, and then they laughed (sometimes incessantly) through the whole movie, and then the quoted it for at least a day afterwards.
Hold an optional den meeting and then use the lonely school flagpole for that outdoor flag ceremony requirement.  Check!
Have a movie party!  My friend invited twenty-one kids to her house to view Home Alone and everyone came.  Man, is it me or are there ten times as many swear words in PG movies than I remember hearing when I was the age of these kids??  Now that I listen with "Mom ears" I'm just a little more sensitive.
Open up that Cub Scouting manual and work on an activity.  Check!
Think that stuff is just for big boys?  Three year olds, as it turns out, can also handle tin can stilts with some success and with lots of giggling.
