We had our twins-in-training over this month and A ran the show.
We have a few flat friends visiting us. Send us yours and we'll show them around and take them to get donuts on the Corner, too.
Citiblocs! Our favorite!
I am always surprised by how much the kids love melting snow. As long as it's semi-solid they want to be in it. It was really cold this month and we're ready for cherry blossoms to open up all over Charlottesville.
"Hey, mom, those are corinthian columns. You can tell because of the plant-life." That what J said as we walked past UVA's Memorial Gym last week. I love he knows that.
Comic drawing lends itself to quiet playdates with friends.
In preparation for kindergarten we are working on how to appropriately touch each other in public. Standing shoulder to shoulder while holding hands is appropriate. Full body hugs and wrestling each other to the ground are not.
Have you had a black bean and rice picnic in your car? We did last week to make schedules work.
J and Dan went to cheer on the Cavs in the NIT tournament game last week on a dad-son outing. I think it might have been J's first basketball game and he acted out pulling down rebounds for several days afterwards.
