We are mid-spring and it is warm and humid. More leaves of the trees unroll all around us, and weeds in our clay lawn stretch taller each day. The mosquito population hasn't yet grown, and so our kids spend large amounts of time outside. Rain comes occasionally, and we frequently hear thunder in the distance. Everything smells so good.
The normal summer activities are becoming more a part of our routine. We have two who ride bikes without training wheels and one that is coming around to the idea. I put our check in the mail today for our neighborhood pool membership. The home base spot in the lawn has been worn bare after the few dozen games of neighborhood baseball have been played.
I love this outside time. I feel like we're all a bit healthier already.

Liz. You are a great writer. Love the way you say it...sweet sweet. What a great history your children will have.
This view is so down to nature, both the camera angle and your words.
