My mom has a friend who served a mission in north Jersey. She tells my mom that New Jersey is the place where the trees all look like sticks in the winter. This is a good "stick tree" picture. Not too many evergreens round here.It was another December day at the park. I have to bribe my child with jelly beans to get him to don a hat, but it's all worth it. Today the sand was so frozen we had to scrape off the top layer and then wait for the next layer to thaw in the sun in order to acculumate enough loose sand to make a sand castle, but Joshua seemed to love the work required. We ended up running around the sandbox to keep our toes warm, and I did a little clog number on a park bench while he was on the jungle gym for the same reason. Don't worry, there was no one at the park today so no one witnessed my routine. That's the other really nice thing about going to the park on a December day--Joshua has free reign on all of the play structures. Here he is on the "Nana" toy--this is a toy on which he played with my Mom when she was here a few weeks ago. He was seriously that happy the whole hour and a half we were there at the park.
