Valentines Day has not always been anticipated on my calendar, but now that I'm responsible for creating the fun traditions in our home, I have come to love the simplicity of this day. I don't know if I really give much attention to the gift-giving part of the day and I really don't expect Dan to either, but a day just devoted to acts of affection seems perfect for a family with a three year old.
And who can feel badly about a holiday that gives us the opportunity to eat Sees Candy? You know what I'll be eating tomorrow.

Liz- how cute are you? Please can I live near you when I grow up. I will send my kids to your house for arts and crafts and you can send your kids over for crazy dancing and loud singing in my kitchen. James & I hope we made the Val. Day cards list.
I was thinking the same thing as Anjanette, about living close by someday. I'll send the kids to Aunt Liz for crafts, Aunt AJ for dancing and singing. And my house will be the napping house with big squashy beanbags. :)
You are the neatest mother ... Joshua is very blessed to have you in his life!
Happy day after Valentine's Day! I hope you got some good Sees Candy. I love the dark chocolate truffles ... mmmm!!
All the kids can come to my house for indoor baseball and burping contests, ... and then I'll send them home.
