Hello, Spring! Hello, yardwork!

Joshua loves working outside. He could do it for hours. I peeked out the window a couple weekends ago to see this through the window screen. Dan was pulling the wild garlic out of our back lawn, and he was letting Joshua happily push the lawnmower around the yard--of course, the engine wasn't running. We just recently discovered that his tough little Dickie-type overalls are the secret to sending him out in the dirt. He dirties them and then slips out them when he comes inside. I let the mud dry and then beat all of the dust out of them, and they're ready for him to wear the next time he wants to work in his garden.

It sounds like you have a great working in the garden system in place ... I am sure Joshua is in heaven!

yes...yardwork is calling, and I know nothing about it!! I think I can identify a few weeds, but other than that, I need some serious help..

Good system. We usually strip Reed down to his diaper before he comes in. He has been spending a lot of time outside in the past couple of days as The Doc is planting fruit trees.

I love the dickies idea. I have started putting an old t-shirt on Sweet Terror right before dinner for that very reason.

BTW, I tagged you for a meme (I'm new to all this blogging stuff so I hope I'm doing it right) you can check it out at icecreamdiary.blogspot.com
