Perhaps you heard about the Nor'easter that hit our part of the country. Here's our basement--luckily it's mostly unfinished. We were pretty lucky that our storage was mostly all up off the ground on metal shelving. Thank heavens for our Shop Vac and for a husband who has dealt with that ear-damaging and back-breaking work. We have a sump pump and it hasn't done the good that Dan's efforts have. I think the water is finally subsiding. Time to start drying things out.

Little Bit of Water

Hopefully it doesn't take long to get rid of the water and dry everything out and you don't have much in the way of damage. You've had some ugly weather the past couple of weeks. It almost makes our winter in Seattle look mild.
I hope nothing got damaged, including Dan's back!
I hope you dry out soon, and that everything will be ok.
sorry about the water...I managed to plug up our garbage disposal this weekend and greg came to the rescue...chalk it up to the managing days ;)...oh I am so glad they are over!!
