Old Belly Shot

Somebody asked me for a belly shot and this is all I've got--I was about twelve weeks along at this point. Here I am in August with my cute pregnant sister Deborah--she's just a couple weeks away from delivering.

This is documentation of my latest plague--poison ivy. (Maybe you can't see it so well it this photo.) At the time, I didn't know that was the cause of my itching and inflammation. I treated my whole body with steroid cream. Bad move if you have poison ivy--once the cream's effect wears off the hives and welty patches come back! I learned that this week. I'm not a big fan of taking meds while pregnant, but oral steroids are the only solution at this point. So basically I'm putting the twins on steroids, too--great. Just what I need--two big babies inside of me.

Great picture! So sad that I missed hanging out with you two (and your cute boys). But...somebody's got to work around here (never thought I'D be the one to miss out on the party because of work). We've gotta do something about this.

PS. poison ivy? ewwww! How did you manage that?

steroids pretty funny. I hope that the babies do not take any liking to the steroids that you will be given to them. I am glad that you are doing well.

Greetings from Seattle. I was constantly getting poison oak as a kid. Whatever you do don't put Clorox bleach on poison oak/ivy, it makes it go away but burns all the hair and pigment off your skin. What you need to do to get rid of the "IVY" is a nice dip in the Great Salt Lake. Of course you'll have to walk a mile out to find a deep enough place in the lake. Another sure way not to get Poison Ivy is to move back here or stay in the house. I vote for moving back here, we miss you guys.

You look beautiful Liz, poison ivy or not. So when do you find out genders for those pumped up little miracles?

Just think - those two little ones could be becoming Hans und Franz! Ugh I'm so sorry you're itchy and scratchy! You look lovely and glowing however!

You look way too cute pregnant, although I'm sure you look cuter now that the belly is bigger. Sorry about the poison ivy, I'm sure it didn't shock you as much as when you found out you were having twins :-)

You'll have to keep posting belly shots...I want to see those boys growing! Wow...I wrote boys without thinking. Maybe it's a sign that they will both be boys! We'll see!

Liz! It's Callie (Davis) from Merced. I can't believe you're having twins! Mine just turned 2 in July. Good luck and twinners are the best...I don't remember the first year, but they're the best :). Let me know if you have any questions! Love your blog by the way.
