Captain J and his 2007 pumpkin

Cameras with film are so expensive to operate! I reverted to using my film camera while we were without a digital model, and I realized how quickly a roll goes when you're accustomed to being able to delete as you go. I was snapping away on this outing to the pumpkin field with friends and as soon as we had chosen the pumpkin for 2007 I realized that I had taken 18 photos! Yikes. Anyway, here's Captain Joshua and his 2007 pumpkin.
All he wanted to be for Halloween was a Southwest Pilot. I found this perfect hat on Plane Fun's site, I made the little shoulder stripes and a nametag with wings, and Daddy chose a tie for him to wear. His church shoes hadn't been replaced yet, but his church pants were brand new causing the only problem of the night. Of course, he's not just the pilot--he's the captain. And he'll tell you that I'm his co-pilot. I love being his buddy.

I'm a little behind on posting pics. That should change since we're sporting a new camera. Thanks for everyone's input.

So cute! And I've had the same camera experience with a disposable camera. The cost sure does add up fast.

I love the costume! So unique :) And I love how "vintage" film pictures look all of a sudden now that so many people have gone digital. Oh and I actually was just called as the Primary President and I'd love to know what you have been doing in your ward and what has worked well for you. Maybe you could email if you have a chance (those rare moments!).
