Joshua's had a little bit of a tummy bug for the past few days. My friend who's a pediatrician calls it the "GI bug that's going around." This is what it turned him into today--a sleeping cutie. If he were vomitting I think "cutie" wouldn't be the first word to come to mind, but he's only complained of a stomach ache and he hasn't wanted to eat anything. We missed the ward Christmas party, today we missed Primary, I missed singing in the double quartet in sacrament meeting today, and we've missed our fun little boy. Luckily, he woke up (in more ways than one) at 4:00 p.m. and started making his demands (in a kind way) as if I was a short-order cook: eggs, pancakes, strawberries, peaches.
I think we've squashed the bug. One less virus to worry about in the future. I feel victorious.

We missed church today due to illness too. It's a bummer to have sick kids, but so very nice when they are on the mend.
I am glad that he is better! We did definitely miss your bright, sunshiny presence at church today though!
I hope that Joshua is feeling better.
You're right - they are just a shell of their former selves when sick and it's cute and sad at the same time. I'm glad he got over it without much icky mess. Definitely bugs going around but still the "flu" hasn't hit yet here officially. Eek!
better NOW than in a week....thats for sure.
Liz,
I'm glad Joshua is feeling better, but how about you? I'm really starting to feel the kicking and discomfort of one baby and I often think of two little ones in there. Wow. Have a great Christmas--you are still my all-time favorite VT partner.

Dear Liz...give me the secret to making it through this beautiful sickness. I'm mad at viruses.
