Here's my confession: I once thought that Valentine's Day was the lamest day in the world. I'm not even going to divulge the details of the cynicism of those days--no need to reinforce those attitudes. Let's just say that my heart has changed, and I appreciate this Valentine's season for reminding us to develop loving relatioships with those around us. Love is in the air, and I think we should all breathe it in and give it away.

Here's my first valentine of 2008. J made it at our ward's primary activity yesterday. Wouldn't it make you feel special, too?
(By the way, to any and all who are ever in charge of a primary activity, Oriental Trading Company is the way to go if you're looking for cheap, cute crafts. Love it!)

Hey, I love you too Liz, and I too can feel the love in the air.
I always loved Valentine's Day because it was so fun to get those valentines! But my Dad also made me realize, from a young age, that many holidays are "Hallmark" holidays, meaning all for commercial purposes. I think there's some truth to that but we can embrace the meaning. I'm glad for a day we can unabashedly dress the house up in pink and red and cheezy hearts and have fun! And yes my 2nd counselor found two crafts at OTC and ordered! Our activity is this upcoming Saturday! Yay!
A Valentine from me to you!
Love you.
Sorry it is not as crafty.
Happy hearts day (a little early). That is such a cute Valentine!
So sweet!
Super cute, it would make me feel loved too.
The activity went really great! Tyler made 2 valentine's and he's very proud of them. I too used to hate Valentine's day. I called it a marketers dream come true. It still is, but thank goodness for my little kids to renew my love of this holiday!
