I read this article and found it so helpful. It's an editorial about what we can do to change the world. Well, sort of.
"Why Bother?" by Michael Pollan from April 20th's New York Times.
My favorite quote from the article is this: "Going personally green is a bet, nothing more or less, though it’s one we probably all should make, even if the odds of it paying off aren’t great. Sometimes you have to act as if acting will make a difference, even when you can’t prove that it will."

I love the idea of going green and really felt like I was making a bigger difference. Love the quote.
opps. can I revise that last sentence...I didn't read over it before publishing it.
I love the idea of going green & really WISH I felt like I was making a bigger difference.
But Liz. Why bother?
kidding
Amen to that! In actuality if everyone did such a small amount, it would make a huge difference. Sadly, too many people say "why bother?". So we just have to make up for them, right. Even if it's just for the sake of our own conscience sometimes :)
