Hooray for January!

Anyone loving January like I'm loving January? What a great time of the year.
Yay for visits from family! My mom and brother Jonny were in town this past week. I thought I'd get my list of projects done, but instead I enjoyed every minute of visiting. And while we chatted, my kiddos did their thing with Nana looking on:
Joshua is loving Lego--and he still loves Leia, so he figures out how to make those two go together.
The twins are loving their newest tricks--E is pulling himself to standing and making serious attempts at the stairs. A is on the verge of taking her first steps.
And we're enjoying winter. Why do so many people wish this time away? (Perhaps for the same reason that I wish away the humidity of August.) J's pretty excited by the snow. I can't help but notice how beautiful the whitened world is under a full moon. D even commuted to work on Friday morning on his bike (in normal weather it takes about 45 minutes) and the temperature was EIGHT DEGREES! Sheesh.

No way! "Sheesh" has been my reaction to everything lately. Weird.

I can't believe your babies have teeth. I mean, I know they're almost a year & they should have teeth & they've had them for a long time...but I STILL picture them all bundled up & calm. When am I going to get my hands on those two?

COOOLD!!!
It is so nice to hear from you and those wonderful babies.
Just in case you didn't know Camille is at the hospital waiting for the girls to come. her water broke last wednesday but labor never started so they are keeping her at the hospital until babies come. They are all doing great, we can't wait to see the girls :-)

My Dan rides his bike in the hideous cold too. I don't know how they do it. My January has been pretty good as well. I think it is March when I really start to wish winter away.
Yes Dan did indeed cook and eat the lobster. It was good, if you didn't think about it too much.

I love their cute little heads!!! Is that weird? Sorry :) So exciting for those first steps and to have two headed to that stage has got to be double the excitement. Before you know it they'll be dancing together. I love seeing those houses in your neighborhood. I wonder what year? They look like the houses around here - 1940s.

I have to admit that I am one of the ones wishing the cold weather away. You all look wonderful! Fun to see a picture of your mom.

Hey Guys -

How are you two doing? I've decided to blog stalk you as well and put your link on our page. What's new in the Garden State?
