"Dear Mrs. ____,
J hasn't completed his P penmanship page yet, but we stayed busy and thought about the letter P and its sounds all week.
On Monday we carved Pumpkins.
On Tuesday we went on a Photography walk and played on the Porch in spite of the Precipitation. We ate crackers and got really wet even though we were supposed to be keeping dry.

On Wednesday we made a really big Poster showing a Pumpkin Patch. On Thursday he went to a Party at his friend's house.
On Friday he marched in a Parade.
On Saturday he went from door-to-door as Harry Potter.
And on Sunday he went to Primary.
We miss having him at home and we'll send that P practice sheet in tomorrow. Thanks for letting us know he was sick last Friday--our P week was so fun with him here."
Sincerely,
J's Mom

Perfect! What a fun sick week! Hope the rest of the family managed to avoid the bug...
So sorry to hear he was sick but so glad he didn't miss the Halloween fun!
Liz, you're so cute. You're such a good mom. Shelby missed all last week of school, too, and here's the letter I wanted to write:
Dear Mrs. Rovig,
Shelby will not be completing this gigantic pile of paperwork, because Kindergarten homework is for the birds!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Summers
You're so cute. Bummer about the flu, but those are some fun P's!
