In the afternoon--Snuggling

This afternoon as J was playing in the snow, the babies climbed onto my lap and we proceeded to snuggle as I reflected on this blessed family activity. It's one of the few quiet and "still" things we consistently do each day together.
Well, it's quiet unless it's an "illegal snuggle", as pictured above. Usually this consists of A backing up onto E's lap (as he innocently plays on the floor) and refusing to move. She usually leans right back on him, resting her head on by his face. It's so cute, but it results in endless pleas for help and so I'm forced to penalize A.

By snuggling with her on the couch. After all that's what she wanted in the first place.

How does that go?...."It's all about time."

That is adorable! I also love that in every shot A is carrying a form of the Book of Mormon. A missionary in the making!

oh my goodness! She is so cute!

Snuggle time is my favorite time of the day! I hope my boy will still let me give him a quick cuddle when he's 14 (do you think he will?) Does J still snuggle (please say yes)

I love it that Dad combines snuggling and banjo-playing. What a guy!

Cant wait to meet all your "letters of the alphabet" some day soon. They sure look cute. And I still try to sneak some illegal snuggles with my brothers. haha

Snuggling...nothing better in the whole world. Dan and I are always so grateful that we were blessed with kids who like to cuddle. As Davie says, "I'm a snuggly boy." So glad to see that your kids like to cuddle too. :)
