Dear Love,
Yesterday I took the kids to our favorite working farm with friends. There is a such a good feeling there. And it smells so good. I'm not kidding. They asked our kids to help take water to the sheep in the pasture and for at least fifteen minutes and four roundtrips, our kids were completely engaged. I can't remember the last time they loved working on a job for fifteen minutes.
Fill the bucket at the pump,
Haul the buckets the fifty yards,
And dump.
They never want to leave. And I have to get used to the idea each time, too.
"Land spreading out so far and wide, take Manhattan just give me that countryside!" Maybe we should move to a farm. Just an idea.
Love,
Your Wife

Oh! Those photos are so so cute. Their little faces! Forget Park Avenue!
There is just something about the smells of a farm. So home-y. Those smells always remind me of home cus we're so close to to orchards, cornfields, etc. and you with your home on the farm...can't imagine the memories you have tied to smells :) so fun
that was fun! you didn't exactly tell everyone WHAT you thought smelled so good-you silly gal!! and as a sidenote-i LOVED Green Acres!!!
