Movie Night: Star Wars Episode One

The Star Wars obsession/saga continues.
J invited a couple friends over on Friday to view The Phantom Menace on Friday.
I wondered, what do young boys do for two and a half hours of a movie?
Consume four bags of microwave popcorn and other assorted snacks.
Build Lego vehicles appropriate to the theme:  speeders, pod racers, federation tradeships.
Yell out "cool" and "awesome" and "oh, yeah" during most of the battles.
He had so much fun with his buddies.  J is still spinning through the house with his lightsaber re-enacting the fight scenes--all the new characters and droids and villains have given him new fuel for his obsession with the Force.

Seriously, who would have ever guessed that D and I would have such a warrior son?

(Yes, Brady Fam, I snapped these at your house one night when the little kids were being put to bed and J was still awake.)

Seriously Liz. You and Dan with a kid so big into fight scenes? What?! Boys...that's my only explanation. They just come that way.

Oh, come on! We all know you & Dan are obsessed with Star Wars. You can't fool us. You say the light saber belongs to J, but I who it really belongs to.

PS. That is one focused look in that little boy's eyes. This is serious business.
