She is Three

She is a natural dancer.  I can't describe how movement to music flows from inside of her.

A feels her way through life, like she feels her way through songs and windy days and cooking sessions with mom.  She is the one in our house to say "that really hurts my feelings."

She says she doesn't love her dad's "scotchy" (scratchy) whiskers at the end of each day, but she does.

A gets her way.  A lot.  This is due to fact that she is tenacious and her twin is giving.

She has been our most self-sufficient child, getting her clothes off and on by herself, and then helping her brother with the same tasks.

After a brief jaunt through Old Navy two weeks ago she announced that for her birthday she wanted butterfly wings and jeans.  (I guess we've been in dress mode for awhile.)  While we were there she had coo-ed over every pair of ballet flats in her size and mine, every pair of colorful flip flops, their spring dresses, and a pink, flowered football.  (In the end she got butterfly wings, jeans, and two dresses with a heart pattern.  I'm such a pushover.)

Her favorite nursery leader at church is the one that is wearing the most colorful accessories.
