Last weekend's schedule was packed with something for everyone. D attended a concert starring one of the greats in the banjo world Earl Scruggs.
A and E pretended to go on a trip in the carseats they long to use in the car for a full hour while I dejunked their closet. Good thing they had their seat belts fastened.
We all enjoyed the visit of our friends the Harrisons. Just Christanne (not pictured) and Oakley visited us. I loved Christanne's company and help. (She babysat while D and I went out, she cleaned my kitchen, prepared meals, etc.) And J loved doing what he and Oak do best--a whole lot of this. It was so fun to see them effortlessly play together again.
The goodbye after church seemed to be fine until Oakley was out of sight and then J missed his buddy all over again.

Thanks for having us--we loved it. Those boys are so cute together--Oak couldnt have a better exploring buddy. Don't worry, we'll be back....
What in the world?!?! I still picture your boy & his BBF hunting for dinosaur bones in the backyard. How fun that they were able to come & visit.
*oops, make that BFF, not BBF.
Ha. BBF? What's that?!?
Here, pretend to go on a trip. Fasten your seatbelt! Now I'll clean our your closet. BRILLIANT! How can I get my kids to play that game?
