Two Hikes from a Shenandoah Camping Trip

Ghost stories by the campfire before the sun even went down.  (OK, so that had nothing to do with the hikes, but J was so enthralled with the idea of telling ghost stories.)
Our first official hike in Shenandoah National Park.  The weather and temperaments were perfect.
A just needs a good hiking buddy.
But E could really use a Tic Tac every now and then.
On top of Loft Mountain in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains
I looked up at one point and it seemed my family was hiking straight into heaven with that celestial slant of light filtering through the trees.
At the top of Jones Run Falls
Don't ask me why I love that his ears are lit up in this photo.
Can't wait to go back in a couple weeks.  Wanna come with us?
