It takes every big of strength, but he's getting better at his shot as he practices each day. It's inspiring to watch him improve. Today he hit twenty shots in seven minutes which is a very different rate than he shot yesterday morning. He loves it when I rebound under the hoop for him because (1) it helps him hit more shots in the time goal he set and (2) he loves that I cheer him as if I were in the crowd. I'm pretty sure there will come a day when he'll be totally embarrassed by both of these things so I'm soaking up the opportunities to coach and cheer. It really won't be long until he thinks I don't know a thing about basketball or any other sport.
On another note we've taken a big step recently in moving from the silly face to the cool-guy face. I'm hoping he'll go back to goofiness because I don't think I can take this between now and his wedding day in fifteen or twenty years.

I love his cool guy face!
Wish we could get our hoop-shooting boys together for some regular time on the court!
he's got a REBOUNDER! He has not idea how cool that is.
I love how the B-ball hoop looks like a halo in the last picture. Thanks so much for sharing all your adventures with an absentee grandma!
