First day of the second grade.
A great year of reading and reasoning, art and movement, and lots of opportunities for friendship lie directly in front of him. We walked him to school this morning as a family and he nearly walked right into his classroom without looking back which is at it should be. He is so ready for new challenges. After school he shared his conclusion that this year will be better than last. At age seven he has such a good blend of confidence and optimism when it comes to school.
