The kids and I visited D at his last seminary class to take some goodies and fruit for a morning treat.
He has loved this group of teenagers and I can see why. After just a half hour there I was impressed by their vibrant personalities and simple love of life. He has been with these kids every morning for nearly an hour before they headed to school for the last year and a half. They have studied the Old Testament (this year's curriculum) and applied it to their lives. They have inspired him to be a better person.
I'm glad we fit this in after nearly a year of telling them in the morning "Dad's at seminary." At the end of it I heard A say "Now I know that your are a seminary teacher" as if to say "so this is what you've been talking about." D went through his desk and the kids got to choose some loot to take home.

Ah, seminary! The best calling in the church! I bet he was great! Now on to other callings. I'm not sure if congratulations is the right word. Good luck to you both! BTW, you did a great job with the center pieces! So fun to see your family growing up! Miss you!
