Camping at Colorful Sherando

We fit in a quick overnight campout to Sherando Lake last night not wanting to miss a chance to see the Blue Ridge as its colors change this autumn. We made it to our campsite with enough light to find a campsite, set up camp, and have dinner. We were up early to make sure we made our way around the lake before needing to be home by noon.
Is there anything quite so lovely in all creation as a mountain lake in fall?
Can you see the beginning of the change?

Today and tomorrow we are watching General Conference, listening to such inspired council, and celebrating wonderful announcements.  I'm listening to the intermediary press conference regarding the change in missionary service by Elder Holland as I type this which is so exciting and wonderful.

Wow! What a quick trip. You're kids are such pros at camping I'm sure there wasn't even a single hiccup. Love the red autumn leaves.
