Preschool Group

On Mondays we gather with our preschool group friends (there are seven children in total) for a little bit of everything: calendar, alphabet, stories, counting, crafts, music and movement. I am both amazed by what we can fit in and amazed by how much we plan that we don't have time to do.
Among our group there are two boys and five girls. There are two sets of twins. We have six four-year olds and one super cute three year-old. We meet in houses, an apartment, or a townhome depending on who is in charge. We are always done after two hours and we all make it home just in time for lunch.
This week our letter of the week is J. On Monday we made jellyfish, created a jungle collage, enjoyed jam on bread, and we made it outside for some j-themed movement: we jumped like jackrabbits, cruised like jets, and jogged around the tennis court.
Finding a community of moms with similar goals for our kids is such a gift. I can't say enough of about the goodness of these women. I'm enjoying watching our kids learn to appreciate their community, too.

Looks like a fun group of little learners! We are totally missing our preschool group right now, and it makes me happy to see yours in motion.

I love love love this. I want this when I have kiddos. Too many little ones don't quite get enough attention to them learning their ABC's. Extra fun activities like this are my new favorite thing/obsession. Good thing I'm an SLP! cute cute photos~
