This photo isn't from the weekend, but it's a snapshot of one of the greatest group of women I've ever been a part of, my ward's Relief Society, in a March meeting. That's Rachel up front giving a powerful challenge to us to do something extraordinary. This weekend I met with the Relief Society of all of the wards in the Shenandoah Valley (H-burg, Staunton, Waynesboro) and those in the Charlottesville area, so this is about one eighth of that large group. But I forgot to take a photo of the big group so this will stand in.

Sandwich-chips-fruit dinner with friends
Work for D (his last class of the school year!)
Errands and chores for the rest of us
Failed attempt to see the last home UVA lacrosse game
New football for J
These thoughts from Stake Relief Society Meeting of extraordinary women:
Elder's Maxwell's emphasis on availability and dependability
"An unexpected life is no less a life."
The amazing story of Nellie Unthank
And the amazing story of Emily Hill Woodmansee
"I did not keep my testimony. My testimony kept me."
Sunday morning dinner prep
Great church meetings, including a class on faith and obedience with the seven-year-olds
Friends for dinner and a cicada hunt
These two friends of mine from RS are hilarious. Separately and together. And they are already plotting to marry these two someday so that they can co-grandma.
