They Make a Good Team

The twins are transitioning from being the ones receiving care to being the caretakers. This was so apparent last week at the park--E led exploration of the drain grate and play structure. Meanwhile, A took charge of the swings. They make a good team. When did this happen that they could do contribute so dependably? They seem so big.

On the half-mile walk home I looked back at one point to see this. A pushed this guy all the way to the park and all the way back.

And then I looked forward to see this. I could hear him see saying "don't run away from me because that's not safe."

Even as the "babies" of the family they are getting occasional practice to nurture and be selfless and that is invaluable in my eyes.
