Surprise! Mini-Golf!

We surprised the kids with a mini-golf adventure. I wonder why we haven't done this with them before.

We had the place to ourselves due to the misting rain that kept the crowds away. I wonder which other places would be equally available during borderline "bad" weather.

Their unique approaches quickly became apparent. J just had a golfing unit at school so was confident in his expertise. E's exuberance and enthusiasm shined through. A was careful and quiet and remarkably accurate.

Dan and I were there, too. I took a photo to prove it. As you can see we forgot to choose our golf outfits, but at least we wore coordinating old running shoes.
