One More Glance at January 2014

This month, as busy as we were, I spent such little time journaling snapshots of our days and weeks. I studied for the three tests I needed to take for a Virginia teaching license, and I worked with a few people on starting a local chapter of the BYU Alumni Association. Dan and I went on dates to a play and to the temple. It snowed and melted several times over, and we enjoyed the changes between warm and cold. Here are just a few images of the month:
In the frigid single digit temperatures I started dreaming of our next road trip.
We added magnets to our fridge map that we started building after our summer trip.
The proportion of the state sizes is off and the fridge is narrow, but we put up trips from our Thanksgiving trip to see the G family.
And a few more from our New Years trip to see the H family in Hotlanta.
 I visited with friends.
The kids humored me initially, but then they ended up enjoying the Kluge-Ruhe Museum.
And most importantly, our Cookie Friday tradition was born. On Friday I make cookies and the kids are able to invite over friends to share them. This past week we enjoyed Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookies.
