Amelia, Eight Years Old

At age 8, A likes just about everything, but gymnastics has be somewhere at the top of the list. She really took off this year, becoming so strong and committed. We only had time in our schedule for her to do one class each Friday, but she looked forward to it and seemed to love practicing at home on every other day.

We also learned how much she loves performing. For the second grade concert she was the narrator in their grade's musical retelling of "Goin' On a Bearhunt". I think she actually enjoys the nervousness she feels, but her face lights up in a smile when everyone is watching.
