Baptism Day for Two

Our eight years old made the amazing decision to be baptized. Nana flew into town and saved the day as the emergency seamstress, putting a zipper into the dress that I made for A.

She and I chose a song to sing as part of the program, "I Like to Look for Rainbows". I sang part of it in Portuguese and she sang in English. Nana and Staci gave talks. E took the quiet route and didn't even get his photo taken with his dad before the baptism. 

So many good friends who have become our family came to support us. 

And some of our actual family came, too! Spencer and Suzy brought their crew from Maryland, and, of course, Nana flew in from California. I hope our kids remember that they are loved and supported as they head through this life.
