Yesterday our sewer started backing up into our swamp sink in our basement. Today Bob the Plumber remediated that little problem. Ten years of grease build-up in cast iron pipes isn't pretty, especially when it spills all of the basement floor when the clean-out cap is opened. Good thing I haven't bleached the floor since the flood. I now have the appropriate motivation.
I didn't figure you'd want to see photos of that unlovely and very stinky situation so I'm posting some some photos of our flowers. Though our daffodils, azaleas, crocuses, and hyacinths have been beautiful, I love tulips best. It's amazing how wide they open up to catch all of the rays. Everyday I think that they're about to drop their petals, but then everyday they close up tightly by dusk.

The flowers are gorgeous! Here in the desert I forget what colored flowers actually look like....I'm so used to brown rocks everywhere!
EWWW stinky basements! How do you feel about home owning now? And...your flowers are beautiful. They were just beginning when I was there. I wish I were there now to see them in real life.
Gorgeous flowers are much better than stinky sewer problems :)!!
Did Joshua put on his boots and start pulling out tools to help solve the problem?
