Bunkbeds for our little "big boy"

Joshua made the move to a "big boy" bed yesterday.

I just love Craigslist. We paid $100 total ($75 for the bed and $25 to our friend who let us use her minivan to haul the bed) for this sturdy bunkbed with it's nice mattresses--the previous owner even threw in the kids' bedding for good measure. Joshua had no idea who the Rugrats were (being the TV-deprived child that he is) when the man asked him if he wanted to take the Rugrats bedding, but we checked out a video at the library to bring him up to speed.

You'll laugh at me for saying this, because I'm not even a mom, but you might want to watch rugrats before you introduce the big boy to them. A good friend in Boise and my sister won't let her kids watch rugrats. I'm not entirely sure what they have against rugrats, but you might want to find out if you're with them.

Grace is also out of the loop when it comes to TV. Kind of nice, huh? Love craigslist! He will be so cute in his new bed. I am glad to see you didn't move him to a bed until now. I don't wan't to move Grace out of her crib yet and people have been giving me a hard time.

I'm sorry I don't leave too many comments but I do love reading you blog! You guys are great!

Those bunkbeds are great too! We got some bunkbeds for our girls last year and they love them, especially Syd.

Yeah for craigslist! What I love is that you can buy something on craiglist and then a year or two later turn around and sell it again for practically the same price! The cycle of craigslist. It's a wonderful thing.
