Yay! Look who came to visit us! We love Brad (our friend from our Seattle days) and we felt so lucky that he had time on this conference trip to come and stop by our little part of the country. He's just as great as ever, for those of you who hadn't seen him in awhile either. We missed Cathy on this trip, but we'll get her out here another time.
And here's our way of staying cool when it feels like a steamy shower outside for das on end. Remember that irresponsible water use I was talking about? Here it is. I am already looking forward to autumn days ahead, but for now we have muddy toes.

Love the watermelon plant. Our's is taking off and we can't wait for to reap the benefits of our hard work.
