Upcoming arrivals . . .

We now have two sets of ultrasound shots of Baby A and Baby B, but I haven't scanned them yet.

That's right! We're expecting twins sometime late this coming winter--I'm due on March 9. Today I'm not nauseated, so today I'm really excited, and the anxiety over having multiples is slowly disappearing. I have no idea how we'll do it, how Joshua will know he's loved, how we'll get a bigger car, etc. But we have faith that there must be two ready to come to our family, so we'll take them both, of course.

I have to laugh a little about the twins. We were really ready for a second--afterall, we knew what to expect having been through everything once. Right? Wrong! I'm sure I have no idea what I'm in for good or bad now that number two and three will be arriving simultaneously.

This pregnancy has been very different from my pregnancy with Joshua--with him I experienced a lot of fatigue and I didn't want to prepare food for months, but no nausea really. I'm only ten weeks along and I have been sick for the last six weeks and completely wiped out on the days that I'm not spending over the toilet. Luckily, my boys are surviving and I have great friends and family who are making such a difference on my rough days.

Any predictions as to the genders? We'll probably find out this time around--I think we've had enough of a surprise.

WOW! Congratulations. If anyone can have twins and survive it is going to be you. What a blessing for everyone involved, especially those two little ones.

Please keep us posted.

SO happy for you,

Andrea

That is SO GREAT!!! I always thought twins would be fun--work, yes, but fun! Two beautiful babies, and you only have to be pregnant (and sick) half the time! You are such great parents and I know you will balance it all! You are the Queen of "Cooking for a Day, Eating for a Month" after all! Congrats to the whole fam! Oh, and my prediction: 2 beautiful baby girls.

Congratulations! I have two sisters that both have a set of twins. Life will be like never before--way more crazy than you can ever imagine--but fun and wonderful at the same time. An instant friend always around though. Good luck!

Just know that we love you and will do anything we can to help now and after the babies come. And please, how could Joshua NOT KNOW that he is loved with YOU for a mother! Congrats to your little family!!

Liz,
Congrats. I am so so happy and excited for you. I think it's a boy and a girl. That would be fun. I so want to help you, but what help would I be with an infant, and two toddlers? Not much. I love you, cousin.

WHAT?? Liz..that is so great...congrats to you, Dan and Joshua...I must agree with all of the other comments, if anyone can do twins and make it look easy, it would be you! Hang in there and let Joshua watch lots of TV...I promise he will still turn out great! Spending time with the toilet is no fun...gatorade and peppermint lifesavers were pretty much the only nutrition I got the first half of my pregnancy with Lewis..good luck!! We are so happy for you guys!!

Wow Liz...that is amazing!!! Congrats to all of you. I think the 2 for 1 is a great way to go (not a big fan of pregnancy). However, after might be a little big more difficult :) This is seriously so exciting though. I hope you feel great the whole time. I guess a boy and a girl.

Congrats again, Liz & Dan! Can't wait to see if it's boy/boy, girl/girl or girl/boy! Any names picked out yet? March 9 is soon! Are you having another c-section?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! After I read your news I thought that Heavenly Father saw your work with Joshua and thought... the work needs to be done well and fast and SHE can surely do two at the time.
So can you Dan!
We miss you guys!

I am a little late in the congratulations department, and just realized why I missed this post- Lorien was born on August 17, and this was post August 11.

Best wishes to all of you. We hope you are doing well.
