#5, #6, and Our Family

This is my favorite little brother--he's #5 in the line of kids. He's my only little brother, and it's a good thing because he would have shown up any other little brother that might have come on scene. He has the best smile of all of us--I got to see lots of it last weekend when he married this really great girl in the LDS Dallas Temple last weekend.

We had a great few days as a family, though we weren't all together with our spouses and kids. It was a big day for my mom and dad--that makes six weddings for them. We're all married off.
I'm presently missing the party in California, an open house at my parents' house. I'm thinking about all the silly things that the cousins are doing while their parents are distracted and socializing. I'm imagining all the ooh-ing and ahh-ing over my new sister-in-law. My mouth is watering as I try to picture the amazing desserts the girls made. I'm wondering when we'll all get to be together.

There's nothing like a great family reunion to get me excited about scheduling the next one.

I know I'm not missing the event as much as you are, but I'd love to be there, too.
